We are in the final design stage of various street and utility 1 J
improvements on Front Street between Elm Street and North Street. This
work involves the installation of a storm sewer (gravity) and a water
pipeline (pressure) under your railroad roadway at Pine Street. .
Enclosed are copies of drawings showing the details of the two
proposed crossings. The storm sewer (15" C.M.P. - bituminous coated -
16 gauge) will be installed by boring from manhole to manhole. The
steel encasement pipe (bituminous coated), for the waterline, will also
be installed by boring.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter. We propose to begin
actual construction on this project in about two months if.the details
of the two proposed crossings meet your requirements. If you have
questions regarding this project, please feel free to contact this
office.
