Box 1997 Salina, KS 67402-1997 Phone 913/823-2221 AMERICA'S BOILER COMPANY OBurnha AMERICA'S BOILER COMPAN The PF -5 Series represents the finest in large cast iron boiler design. Utilizing a completely sealed, forced draft wet base design, the PF -5 Series requires no separate base or combustion chamber. The sealed, forced draft design provides optimum draft, eliminating the need for high chimneys or mechanical equipment to ar- tificially induce proper draft. The sectional construction of the PF -5 Series makes it ideal for use in installations where the boiler room is not easily accessible due to structural limitations. Factory assembly is optional, if required. The cast iron sections in the PF -5 boiler are assembled with cast iron push nipples. These nip- ples resist petroleum based chemicals, including antifreeze, that can deteriorate the gaskets used on some competitors' boilers. Cast iron nipples expand and contract with the cast Iron boiler sections they join. This insures the integrity of the entire section assembly. Available in eighteen sizes starting at Gross Outputs of 620 MBH, the PF -5 Series fires gas, oil or gas/oil combination and can be equipped with either steam or water trim and controls. VERTICAL FLUE DESIGN — Ruggedly cast sections provide vertical flue-ways with large 7 inch top nipple ¢ 6 port. The off -center positioning of the nipple port speeds water 1 _ circulation. Projecting heat absorbing studs extract maximum heat from flue gases. Sections are individually water tested at r 1 21/2 times W.P. (water) and are accessible from the left side for cleaning. ELASTIC SEALANT — Boiler sections are sealed gas-tight with our unique elastic seeiing Compound. This sealant is used on all section joints to guarantee the completely sealed and • ,.`v. 10 t ! gas-tight assembly required for forced draft operation.
