It has been brought to our attention your firm installed a new waterline
in the parking along the south side of Buckeye Avenue and along the east
side of Lewis Street to serve the property located at 2045 Lewis Street.
Apparently, during the trench backfilling operations concrete rubble and
debris was included in the backfill material. This backfill material
does not allow the homeowner at 902 Buckeye Street to seed and landscape
the disturbed areas.
In order to correct this situation, you will be required to remove the
debris from the backfill material and then consolidate the trench back-
fill by jetting with water.
Before commencing the jetting operations, please notify us to observe
your procedure. It is our policy to insure all disturbed grassed and
landscaped areas are consolidated by jetting and Hand racked to allow
the private property owner to reseed grass or otherwise maintain the area.
If you have any questions concerning the above comments, please contact
me. Your prompt action in correcting this deficiency would be appreciated.
