Our records indicate a construction permit was issued on October 5,
1984, to Wilbur Construction Company to construct a driveway approach for
Lot 8, Block 1, Replat of the North 200' of Union Cemetery Addition. An
inspection was made by our staff on October 9, 1984, to determine if the
driveway approach layout and details were in accordance with our standards.
All details and layouts were found to be in conformance with our standard
specifications. The Contractor was notified the concrete could be placed
and the driveway approach was then constructed by Wilbur Construction
Company.
It has been brought to our attention, however, that a concrete addi-
tion, approximately 5-1/2 ft. wide, was constructed along the north side
of the driveway approach. This additional construction work is not in
accordance with our minimum driveway approach standards; the work was not
authorized by a construction permit; and the work was not performed by a
licensed contractor.
You are hereby ordered to remove that portion of the driveway approach
that was constructed on public right-of-way in violation of City Code
(Section 35-121 through Section 35-160). If you have any questions con-
cerning the above violations, please contact me.
