December. 1978 by and between the City of Salina, Kansas, Party
of the First Fart, hereinafter called the Owner, and Calvin H.
9oviden (�- Associates. Architects and 12ngilrleers, of Salina, Kansas,
Darty of the Second -Part, hereinafter called the Architects.
7ITNFSSHTH, that for and incconsideration of the services
to be rendered, and the payments hereinafter agreed to be made,
it is mutually agreed that the Architect will furnish profess-
ional architectural services,as set forth in detail hereinafter
in connection with the proposed project described as follows:
Pm Animal Shelter (in a location to be determined later) in the
City of Salina.
f,RT. 1 - The Ixchitect shall provide the following services:
a - The necessary conferences, the preparation of pre-
liminary studies, preliminary estimates and preliminary
drawaing s .
b - .'rovide final working drawings and specifications,
after the Owner's approval of preliminary drawings.
c - The :xchitect. shall solicit bidders and handle
details concerning bidding the project.
d - Draw up the necessary contracts for construction.
!ork, secure all necessary docu;:,ents from the Contractor
such as bonds and other necessary papers in the pursuit
of the work.
For these services the Ovmer agrees to pay the Architect 75:5 of
the total fee of 2..;g (to be credited to the final fee).

ART. 2 - After cor.:pletion of the work outlined above the Arch-
itect shall provide the following services:
a - Concentrated inspection of the project during
construction.
b - Final inspection, in the company of designated
City Officials.
c - 'Orovide "as built" drawings of the project.
For these services, the Ovmer agrees to pay the Architect 7.5ri',
less previous payments, made under iTT. 1.
