Dear Mr. Hoff:
Reference is made to your letter to me dated May 16, 1991.
The letter transmitted information to this office concerning the
proposed power line and light fixture for the previously approved
Welcome to Salina sign located approximately 260 feet to 380 feet
right of the Salina levee station 343+25.
There are no objections to the construction of this project in
accordance with the plans submitted with the above refgrenced
letter, subject to the following comments:
a. All excavation and backfill should be accomplished in
accordance with the Corps of Engineers Guidebook.
b. Upon completion of the work, please furnish a set of
"as -built" drawings to the Corps of Engineers.
The City should assure that the work is accomplished in
accordance with the details that have been approved by this office
and the City Engineers office. A representative of our Operations
Division will inspect the area during the next semiannual
inspection.
