MEMO TO CITY CLERK:
The Board and Minister are agreeable to rent their church
basement to'the City of Salina, Kansas for use as voting precinct
on -primary -and election days for a sum- -of -$25:00-each-tfine-we-u"
the facility. Said church being the Village Misdonary Church located
at 1301 Osage Avenue. We appreciate the Boards action in behalf of
the city. They have requested and we must place "No Smoking" signs
outside of building at entrance and also inside the church. Signs
should be made by a professional sign company and be large enough to
attract attention.
To enter the church we must see Rev. Gene Hallstrom, who
resides at 1209 Osage Avenue, Telephone No. 7-4152. Rev. Hallstrom
must be notified a few days prior to our using the basement.
