A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO GIVE
AUTHORITY FOR DEPOSIT AND WITHDRAWALS FROM UMB NATIONAL BANK
ACCOUNT.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That a bank checking account and/or savings account and/or Certificates of
Deposit in the name of this Corporation be opened with the UMB National Bank of America,
Salina, Kansas ("Bank");
Section 2. That of this Corporation, each of whom is the duly acting and elected
officer of this Corporation as stated after his name, or any one of them are hereby authorized to sign
checks of this Corporation and orders for the payment of money withdrawing funds as aforesaid
from the Bank and that the Bank is hereby authorized and directed to honor and pay checks and
orders so executed or drawn, whether such checks be payable to the order of the persons signing or
countersigning the same, or any of said persons or officers of the Corporation in their individual
capacities or not, and whether the same are deposited to the individual credit of the person signing
or countersigning the same or to the individual credit of any officer or employee of this Corporation
or not; and
Section 3. That any one of said officers is hereby authorized to endorse for credit or
negotiation any and all checks, drafts, notes, bills of exchange or other evidences of indebtedness or
orders for the payment of money belonging to, payable to or in the possession of this Corporation,
and that all endorsements for credit may be made by the written or stamped endorsement of the
name of this Corporation without designation of the person making the same, and the duly elected
and acting City Manager of the Corporation is hereby authorized to revoke the authority hereby
conferred upon such persons and/or to give such authority to such other officers and employees of
the Corporation by advising the Bank in writing.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.

A. RESOLUTION designating certain banks as depositaries for
the funds>of the City of Salina, and relating to and
regulating the taking of security for such deposits,
and.relating to and regulating the deposit of the
funds of the City of'Salina in such depositary banks.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of the City of
Salina, Kansas:
SECTION 1. That all public moneys of the City of Sali3x
coming into the hands of any officer of the City of Salina
shall be deposited in the manner provided by Chapter 161, Laws
of Kansas 1933;. in. one or morebR the following named banks in
Saline County, Kansas, which are hereby designated as depositar
iss.of the public moneys of the City of Salina,. Kansas, to -wit:
The Planters State Bank, Salina, as; The Farmers National
Bank, Salina, Kansas; The National Bank of America, Salina,
Kansas; provided that before such designation shall become
effective such banks or any of them in which such public moneys
shall be deposited shall furnish the security required by law,

moneys of the City of. Salina in such depositories, and the
deposits of surety bonds as securities by such depositories,
ahall.be deemed to be pursuant to all of the laws of Kansas
applicable thereto, and shall be in all respects governed by
such laws.
