RESOLUTION NUMBER 10-6739
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING GRATITUDE AND APPRECIATION TO EMS
DIVISION CHIEF MARVIN VANBLARICON FOR HIS EMPLOYMENT WITH THE CITY
OF SALINA FROM JANUARY 1, 1980 TO JUNE 15, 2010.
WHEREAS, during the period from January 1, 1980 to June 15, 2010 MARVIN
VANBLARICON served as Firefighter/EMICT, Firefighter, Firefighter/Paramedic Sr., Fire
Engineer/Paramedic Sr., EMS Fire Engineer/Paramedic Sr., EMS Fire Lieutenant/Firefighter, EMS
Instructor, EMS Lieutenant, Training Division Chief, and EMS Division Chief for the Fire Department
of the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, MARVIN VANBLARICON has demonstrated invaluable and dedicated service to
the City of Salina; and
WHEREAS, such service and dedication to his job and the interest of the City of Salina are
worthy of public recognition; SO NOW, THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That an official expression of gratitude and appreciation to MARVIN
VANBLARICON, for his dedicated and faithful service as Firefighter/EMICT, Firefighter,
Firefighter/Paramedic Sr., Fire Engineer/Paramedic Sr., EMS Fire Engineer/Paramedic Sr., EMS Fire
Lieutenant/Firefighter, EMS Instructor, EMS Lieutenant, Training Division Chief, and EMS Division
Chief for the Fire Department of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to have this resolution delivered to MARVIN
VANBLARICON.
Adopted by the Board of Commissioners and signed by the Ma this 14th day of June, 2010.
