ORDINANCE NUMBER 10-10541
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF A CERTAIN TRACT OF
LAND IN SALINE COUNTY, KANSAS IN CONFORMITY WITH THE PROVISIONS OF
K.S.A. 12-519 TO 12-526, INCLUSIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That the following described tract of land, to -wit:
A Tract of land located in the Northwest. Quarter of Section 35, Township 14 South, Range 3
West of the 6th Principal Meridian, Saline County, Kansas, being described as follows:
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter;
Thence on an assumed bearing of South 00°05'07" East; along the East line of said Northwest
Quarter, a distance of 75.00 feet;
Thence North 89°54'49" West, a distance of 10.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence South 00°05'07" East on a line parallel to and 10.00 feet West of said East line, a
distance of 342.42 feet;
Thence North 89°54'49" West, a distance of 513.57 feet;
Thence North 00°33'52" West, a distance of 347.94 feet to a point on the South Right -of -Way
line of Magnolia Road;
Thence on a curve to the left, having a radius of 28707.87 feet, a chord bearing of North
89'22'17" East, a chord distance of 8.19 feet, and an arc length of 8.19 feet;
Thence North 86°00'20" East continuing along said South Right -of -Way line, a distance of
255.28 feet;
Thence South 87°23'38" East, a distance of 199.52 feet;
Thence South 74°29'08" East, a distance of 56.38 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING..
Said tract contains 4.23 acres, more or less.
meeting one or more of the classifications for annexation prescribed by K.S.A. 12-519 to 12-
526, inclusive, is hereby annexed and made apart of the City of Salina, Kansas.
Section 2. That the Salina Area Map (Figure 18, P, 172) of the Comprehensive Plan of the
City of Salina shows the above described tract as a Primary Service Area for the extension of the City
utilities and services.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
