512 Extend Tenth StreetOrdinance No. 512
An ordinance opening and extending Tenth Street from Ash Street north to Park Street. Whereas,
Dr. Wm Bishop has generosity donated to the City of Salina for public use the lands necessary to extend
Tenth Street from Ash Street north to Park Street and has executed to said City, warranty deed there for,
without cost to said city therefore.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the lands heretofore donated to the City of Salina, by Dr. Wm Bishop for public
use, be and the same is hereby accepted by said city and appropriated for public uses, a part of and a
continuation of Tenth Street to -wit commencing at a point on the north line of Ash Street 290 feet west of
the center of Ninth Street, running thence north 300 feet, thence west 80 feet, thence south 300 feet,
thence east along the north line of Ash Street to the place of beginning.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the
Saline County Journal.
