492 Improve Iron Avenue'UP, , I �Iwl wo-, 000 'o '00, V/ -4c,6, 2040�� ��d � ��-r�-c� 7 U% «izG�-iQac �i Ordinance No. 492 An ordinance authorizing and directing the curbing, and guttering of certain streets and avenues. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina, Kansas. Section 1. That the City Council be and are hereby authorized and directed to cause the south side of Iron Avenue from Eighth Street to the Smoky Hill River to be curbed and guttered as specified in section 7 of this ordinance. Section 2. That the City Council be and are hereby authorized and directed to cause the north side of Iron Avenue from Eighth Street and Seventh Street and from Santa Fe Avenue to the Smoky Hill River to be curbed and guttered as specified in section 7 of this ordinance. Section 3. That the City Council be and are hereby authorized and directed to cause the west side of Santa Fe Avenue from Ash Street south to the south line of Lot 94 in said Santa Fe Avenue be curbed and guttered as specified in section 7 of this ordinance. Section 4. That the City Council be and are hereby authorized and directed to cause the east side of Santa Fe Avenue from Ash Street to the south line of Lot No. 89 on said Santa Fe Avenue to be curbed and guttered as specified in section 7 of this ordinance. Section 5. That the City Council be and are hereby authorized and directed to cause the east side of Santa Fe Avenue from Iron Avenue to Walnut Street to be curbed and guttered as specified in section 7 of this ordinance. Section 6. That the City Council be and are hereby authorized and directed to cause the west side of Santa Fe Avenue from the south line of Lot No. 116 to the south line of Lot No. 122 to be curbed and guttered as specified in section 7 of this ordinance. Section 7. All curbing and guttering required by this ordinance shall be constructed and put down according to the plans and specifications proposed by the City Engineer now on file in the City Clerk's office. Section 8. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication once in the Saline County Journal. Approved May 17, 1886
