Ordinance No. 457
An ordinance making a special assessment for improvements in the city of Salina,
Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby levied a special tax for improvements in
addition to the taxes for general revenue and other purposes upon each of the lots as
hereinafter described the several amounts set opposite to the same as follows:
West 25 feet of Lots Nos. 109 & 111 on Santa Fe Avenue -------------
East 25 ft. of west 50 ft. of lots Nos. 109 & 111 on Santa Fe Avenue
East 70 ft. of south 1-2 of lot No. 111 on Santa Fe Avenue ------------
North 1-2 of lot No. 113 on Santa Fe Avenue ----------------------------
All of lot No. 110 on Santa Fe Avenue -------------------------------------

Section 2. That the city clerk be and he is hereby authorized to certify the foregoing
assessments to the county clerk to be placed upon the tax roll for collection, subject to the
same penalties and collected in like manner as other taxes.
Section 3. That this ordinance take effect and be in force from and after its publication
in the Saline County Journal.
