An ordinance establishing a grade on the alley between Santa "e
Avenue and Seventh Street fro, -.n Iron Avenue south to l,`lalnut Street.
Be it ordained by the t -Mayor and "ouncilmen of the city of Salina,
Kansas.
S e•c. I. That a grade be and is hereby established on the alley
bot�{✓een .Santa Fe Avenue and Seventh Street from Iron Avenue south
to Walnut Street; comr_iencing at the street line on the south side
of Iron Avenue at an elevation of one hundred and one and five
tenths (101.5) feet; thence south by a uniform '-rade five hundred
( 500) feet to an elevation of one hundred and one and seven tenths
(101.7) feet; thence south two hundred and fifty (�50) feet by a
lev '1 grade to the north side of Walnut Street to an elevation of
one hundred and one and seven tenths (101.7) feet. The grade line
as hereby established shall be for the ciirb stone; of - alley.
S e c. r. The grade of the center of the alley shall be :as follows:
commencing at the street line on the south side of Iron Avenue at
an elevation of, one :hundred and one (101) feet thence south five
I hundred (500) feet by a uniform tirade to an elevation of one hun—
dred and one and five tenths (101.5) feet; thence. south two hun—
dred-and
un—died•and fifty feet 'by a uniform grade to the north side of "Valnut
Street to an elevation of one hundred and one and two tenths (101.;
feet.
S e c. ?. All elevations mentioned in sec's one and two of this
ordinance are referred to the "rity Bench TTark" as established by
ordinance and to the profile on file in the city engineers office.
S e c. 44. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force frog
and. after its publication in the Sa i e County Journal.
