419 Improve Alley (5th & Santa Fe)0 r d i n a n c e
An ordinance establishing a grade on the alley between Fifth Street
and Santa Fe Avenue from Iron Avenue south to 17alnut Street.
Be it ordained by the 'M'ayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina;
Kansas.
S- e c. 1. That a grade be and is hereby established on the alley
between Fifth Street and Santa Fe Avenue from Iron Avenue south to
1,7alnut Street: Commencing at the street line on the south side of
Iron Avenue at an elevation of one hundred and nine tenths (100.9)
feet, thence south by a uniform grade five hundred ( 500) feetto an
elevation of one hundred and one and one tenth (101.1) feet; thence
south two hundred and. fifty (250) feet by a levil grade to the
north side of 111alnu.t Street to an elevation of one hundred and one
and one tenth (101.1) feet. The grade line. as hereby established
shall be for the curb stones �of alley.
S e c. 2. The grade line of the center of alley shall be as follol,as
coly-n-encing at the street line on the south side of Iron Avenue at
an elevation o.f one hundred and four tenths (100.4) feet, thence
south five hundred (500) feet by a uniform grade to an elevation
of one hundred and nine tenths (100.9) feet; thence south two hun-
dred and fifty (250) feet by a uniform grade to the north side of
Yalnut Street to an elevation of one hundred and six tenths (100.6)
feet.
S. -e .c. 3. All elevations mentioned in sections one and two of this
ordinance are referred to the city bench mark as established by
ordinance and to the profile on file in the pity engineers office.
S e c. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and -be in force £rorr
_and after its publication in the Saline County Journal.
