An ordinance establishing a grade on Wi al nut Street ,from Second
Street to Tenth Street in the city of Salina.
f e it ordained by the ?gayor and rouncilr:ien of the city of Salina,
Kansas.
S e c. 1. That a grade be and is hereby established on Walnut
Street,.commencing at the intersection of the center line of Second
with 17alnut Street at an elevation of ninety eight andfou x(98.4)
feet;thence vest by a uniform grade to the center of Third Street
to an elevation of ninety nine and two tenths (99.2) feet;thence
by a uniform grade to the center of Fourth Street to an elevation
of one hundred (100) feet;thence by a uniform grade to the center
of Fifth Street to an elevation of one hundred and six tenths(100-o
feet; thence by 'a uniform ;rade to the center of Santa, Fe Avenue to
an elevation of one hundred and one and.' two tenths (101.3) feet;
thence by _z Teniform grade to the center of Seventh Street to an
elevation of one hundred and one and eight tenths (101.8) feet;
thence by a uniform grade to the center of eighth Street to an
elevation of one hundred and taro and five tenths (103.5) feet;
thence by a uniform grade to the center of Ninth Street to an ele-
vation of one hundred and three (103) feet;thence by a uniform
grade to the center of Tenth Street to an elevation of one hundred
and three- and six .t-enths (106.6) feet.
S e c. All elevations mentioned in Sec. one of this ordinance
are referred to the pity Bench ?Sark" as established by ordinance.
S e c-3,. The grade line as hereby established shall be for -the
center line or crown of the street and of the top of czzrb stones.
S e c. 4. This ordinance shell take effect and be in force from
and after its publication in the Saline County journal.
