An ordinan-fin providing for the construction of sidewalks Dic IPI_7�
Be it ordained by the T.:layor and Councilmen of the city of Salina,
Nansas.
Section 1. Tha the owner of any re,�l estate abutting on, the
fin the city o£ Salina, is her re_ aired to build or ca��se to he
built on or before the /'P=4d.ay of _ _ 1684 a sido-;valk in
front of such real estate on said street in manner as describ.:)d in
section of this ordinance and to the satisfaction of the Porn-
mittee on sidewalks of said city.
Section 2. That zhe owner of any real estate abutting on the ju ge_4
in the city of Salim,is hereby re aired to build or cause to be
buil i, on or before he /'°2day of _1 66 = a side-,.7alk in —
front of such real estate on said street in manner as described in �
section `L of this ordinance and to the satisfaction of the Com- €
mittee on sidewalks of said city.
Section That the sidewalks herein provided for shall be of
even gt_'ade througho,?t to be determined by the,, city engineer, -and (�
shall be built five feet four inche.s r:�,ide of a good q',lality of
coi:u:ion pine plank t --,o inches thicka�nd spiked .Stith t gent penny
nails,and supported by three two by six inch stringers well lapped
and spiked with twenty penny n=ails. The stringers shall be placed

Section � The Committee on - dewalks shall as soon as practica-
