As soon as said proposition shall be deter-
mined in the affirmatives by a canvass of the
votes cast at such election your honorable
body shall immediately convene 'and order
thecity clerk of said city of Salina, for and-
and on behalf of said city, to tnake and the
city clerk shall make.said subscription in the
name of said city for said one hundred and
twenty shares of the capital stock of said
railroad company.
