Ordinance No. 509
An ordinance amending Section 4 of Ordinance Number 272 entitled "An ordinance for the levying
and collecting a license tax on hawkers and peddlers."
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina.
Section 1. That Section 4 of Ordinance Number 272 entitled "An ordinance for the levying and
collecting a license tax on hawkers and peddlers," be amended so as to read as follows:
Section 4. This ordinance shall in no wise apply to fruit and vegetable dealers or coal -oil
dealers within the limits of the City of Salina.
Section 2. That original section no. 4 of Ordinance No. 272 be and the same is hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the
Saline County Journal.
