Ordinance No. 508
An ordinance making an assessment and levying of again the owners and harbors of dogs in the
City of Salina.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina.
Section 1. That there be and is hereby levied an assessment and tax of five dollars against the
owner or owners of each female dog in the City of Salina, as follows to wit:

Section 3. That the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized to certify the foregoing assessments
and takes to the County Clerk to be placed upon the tax roll for cancellation subject to the same penalties
and collected in like manner or other taxes.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the
Saline County Journal.
