Ordinance No. 504
An ordinance making a levy of taxes for general revenue and other purposes in the City of Salina,
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina.
Section 1. That the sum of nineteen mills on the dollar be and the same is hereby levied on all real
mixed and personal property in the City of Salina for the following purposes:
General Revenue 10 mills
Opening and improving streets, avenues, and alleys and for building
bridges culverts, sewers and crosswalks across streets 5 mills
Sinking Fund 1 '/2 mills
Interest Fund 2'/2 mills
Section 2. That the levy of fifteen mills made by the Board of Education of the City of Salina
School District for general revenue, sinking fund, and interest be and the same is hereby approved.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its publication in the
Saline County Journal.
