And whereas the said petition having been duly filed and set
down for hearing,and the mayor and councilmen having duly examined
and considered the same,and being fully advised in the premises,
do find and declare that the said petition is in writing and that
it is signed by more than two-fifths o4 the4resident tax payers of

defraying the expenses of securing and paying for land for right
of way, depot grounds and terminal facilities, and the amount of
bonds to be voted and issued by said city. That it sets forth the
manner and amounts of said bonds,when and where payable,the time
to run,and the interest thereon,and the other conditions necessary
thereto; also the form of the ballots to be used at such election
to be ordered for and against the issuance of said bonds, and the
petition is in all respects im conformity to law.

Seca. 1. That a special election be, and the same is hereby or-

Sec. 2. That the mayor of said city of Aa'& �—
be and is hereby authorized and directed 'to issue his proclamation
calling such special election,which proclamation shall contain a
copy of this ordinance,and shall specify the time when said elect-
ion shall be held and the place wherein each ward of the said
city the polls will be open,and designer. h ward three elect=
ors to act as judges and two electors to act as clerks of such
election,and shall give the form of the ballots to be used thereat
and shall cause said proclamation to be published in The%
for three consecutive weeks before the date of
said election.
Sec. 3. That the form of the ballot to be used at such special
election for or against said proposition so submitted shall be as
follows: Each qualified voter voting for said proposition shall
have printed or written on his ballot ".For the bonds." Each qual-
