Be it. ordained by the Ivayor an,1 Councilmen of the city of
Kansas,

Section 1,

That before any Hack, Oiluiibus, or other veh.i cle, owned,

by an7 persoi,, Wh.o h.as not been bona file resident of the city
of Salina, Kansas. for more teat thirty days --before making tke
pp11 cation herein -after stated-, shall be used in tke said city

'rhe ownerA or owners of suck Hack, Omnibus, or. other v*iele,
shall make 'leis or her application to tke clerk of said city,
*kic'f% application shall state 'tke name and residence of the
ow- ner, and tke name of the person who skull drive such. Itack,
omnibus, or other vehicle, and the time tbat such hack,Omnibuq,
or other ve] i clEt is intended to be used, and, shall pay to the
city clerk the sum of FIVE DOLLARS p-er clay for the time covered. t

Section a,
That any person Ua" shall violate any of the provisions of
this Orry ir:anc e shall be deemed guilty of a mi s-.emeanor and upon:
conviction before the police Judge shall be fined in any sum not
more than one hundred dollars.
Section 40
This ordinance shall take ef-Cett and be in force from and aft
after its publication once in the Daily Republican Journal of
Salina, Kansas. --
