An ordinance providing for the salaLry of the police Judge
e� x�ee$xiu x' e+c ��i��sx�aroc xxxxxx and relating to fees iaxi v.%%
and costs in the police courte and repealing ordinance No 289.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and councilmen of the city of Salina,
Kansas,
Section. 1,
That The salary of the police judge of the city of Salina,
Kansas, shall be twenty dollars per month to be paid as other
claims against the said city are paid, and in.addition.thereto
the police judge shall .be entitled to the sum of One dollar in
each case in said police court in which thereis a conviction
in said court,
Section 2
That the ,,olicejudge shall tax as a sts in all easeJin ttr
the police eoi.irt� the stun of three dollars as fees for the police
judge, which said three dollars shall be collected, reported and
paid tax in .the same mariner as -fines are now required by lav to
be collected., reported and paid* provided however, that the ask%
police judge is hereby authorized to deductid the one dollar.for
each conviction -as provided for in section one of this ordinance•
from.any moneys in his hands belonging to the said city.
Section 8.
The police Judge shall taxiX as costs in all caseAwhere JOW
there is a conviction the am of three dollars for the city atOef
torney which when collected shall be paij/to the city attorney
but the city shall in no'event be liable for this fee..
Section 4
That Ordinance No, 249 be and the same is hereby repealed.
