ORDINANCE NO.
An ordinance providing for the construction of sewers in the Cit
of I ina., -Kansas.
Be it ordained by 'the Mayor and Councilmen of the.City of Salina.
,'Section lo That the Committee on Sewerage and Drainage of the. City
douhe:il,,is hereby authorized and required to cause to be constructed., -
within the City of Salina.. Kansas, main and lateral sewers as fol',ows,
to -wit :' ►
A main sewer, to be located on West Ash Street',, from present termi
nus of the present City sewer on line with the alley between Sante Fe S
Avenue and Seventh Street.. extending West to West line of Eleventh Streett
a distance of one thousand four hundred seventy (147 0) feet, to be built
of 24" double strength salt vitrified sewer pipes
A lateral sewer extending South to thecenter of Eighth Street from
main sewer in center of Ash Street to center of Mulberry Street, of said
City, a distance of two thousand five hundred ten (2510) feet, to be
built of twelve(12) inch double strength salt vitrified pipe.
A lateral sewer on North Eighth Street extending from main sower to., --
center of Elm Street, of said City, a distance of Eight hundred thirty
(830) Peet, to be built of twelve (12) inch double strength salt vitri-
fied pipe.
A lateral sewer in alley between Sante Fe.Avenue and Seventh street
from the terminus of the present lateral sewer about 200 feet North of
main sewer to the center of Elm Street, a distance of Six Hundred thirty
(630) feet, to be built of twelve (12) inch salt vitrified pipe., din 'marl
ner and form and of the materi&l specified and required in the plans
and specifications now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said

authorized and empowered to contract for the building and construction,,,
of said sewers with the Salina Plumbing Company, according to and fox'
the bid of said Company now on file in the office of the City Clerk
-Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and.atter its publication once in the Salina Daily Republican-- 4
Journal.
