1039 Salina Military BandAn Ordinance appropriating the sum of One'Hundred and fifty Dollars, for
the purpose of aiding and assisting the Salina Military Band,
of Salina, Kansas, and providing for the monthly payment of
the same
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the
general fund of the city treasury the sum of One Hundred and fifty Dol-
lars, for the purpose of aiding and assisting in paying the expenses of
rent of room and light for the Rdlina Military Band of Salina, Kansas.

Sec. 2. That twelve orders, each in the sum of $12.50, be drawn
ori the treasurer for the payment of said sum, the first of which orders
hall be drawn on or about the 17th day of September, 1900 and the at

remaining orders shall be drawn one at a time at the expiration of each
every --thirty days thereafter until' the twelve orders herein provided
for shall have been pa drawn, such orders to be made payable and deliv-
ered to P.M. Richardson, Treasurer, or to,his successor or assign, upon
his written order therefor filed with the city clerk.
Sec. 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after its passage. p /
