An Ordinance vacating a portion of an;,alley in the city of Salina.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city, of Salina:
Section 1. That tnat-part or portion of the alley lying be-
tween Santa Fe avenue and Fifth street north of Elm street, which ex-
tends from the north line of said Elm street to the north line of
Lot N0.3� on Santa Fe avenue and Lot NO -36 on Fifth street, be and
the same is hereby vacated, annulled and discontinudd as a public
alley in the city of Salina, Kansas; Provided, however, that the
vacation of the alley herein provided for shall not in any manner
interf ere.with the present or future maintenance, operation and use
of any telegraph, telephone and electric light poles and wires now
located or to be located in and along such alley; and such city of
Salina hereby reserves an easement in,and over such ground so vacated
for the pirposes last hereinbefore set forth.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication once in.the Salina Evening Journal.
