An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain calims.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. That the sum of

Sec. 2. That orders be drawn on the city treasurer for the
payment of the claims mentioned in Section One hereof.
Sec. 3. That the sum of.Eight Thousand Four Hundred Fifty
Seven and 14/100 ($8457.14) Dollars be and the same is hereby appro-
priated out of any funds in the hands of the city treasurer for the
payment of the following claim:
To The Kaw Paving Company of Topeka, Kanaas,4for paving College
avenue from Ash to Walnut street..........................$8457.14
Sec. 4.
S '� That the sum of Fouty Six ($46.00) Dollars be and
the same is appropriated out of any funds in the hands of the city
treasurer for the payment of the following claim:
To Axel Johnson for constructing sidewalk in front of Lots 9and 11,
Block 12, Wel'lington's Addition.................................$46.00 f✓
Sec. That scrip for such amount as mentioned in Sec. 4 of
this ordinance be drawn on the city treasurer for the payment of theh
amount, saiscrip to be made payable on or before Fifteen (15) months
^� and drawing no interest.
Sec. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption.
