An Ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. ThAt the sum of

Sec. 2. That orders be drawn on the city treasuper for the
payment of the claims mentioned in Section One hereof.
Sec. 3. That the sum of One Hundred One and no hundredths
($101.00) Dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any
funds in the hands of the city treasurer for the payment of the follow-
ing claim.......
To C.T.Snyder for sewer work on College avenue ................ $101.00
Sec. 4. That scrip for such amount as mentioned in Section
Three of this ordinance be drawn on the city treasurer for the payment
of such amount said scrip to be made payable on or before _7 I �
days after date and drawing six per cent interest.
Sec. 5.That the sum of Two Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Nine and
73/100'($2469.73) Dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated out
of any funds in the hands of the city treasurer for the payment of
the following claims:
To Ringle & Root construction of curb and gutter from Ash street to ,

Sec. 6. That scrip for such amount as mentioned in Section Five
of this ordinance be drawn on the city treasurer for the payment of suds
amount, said scrip to be made payable on or before days after
date and drawing six per cent interest.
Sec. '7. That the sum of SevQnty-two and 43/100 072.43) Dollars
be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any funds in the hands
of the city treasurer for the payment of the following claim:
To The.Salina Vitrified Brick Company for constructing certain side-

Sec. 8. That scrip for such amount as mentioned in Section
Seven of this ordinance be drawn on the city treasurer for the payment
of such amount, said scrip to be made payable on or before

Sec. 9.That the sum of Thirty Two Thousand Four Hundred and
Eighty and 93/100 ($32,480.93) Dollars be and the same is hereby ap-
propriated out of any funds in the hands of the city treasurer farthe
payment of the following claim:
To the Kaw Paving Company for excavating and paving Ninth street
480.93
Sec. 10. That scrip for such amount as mentioned in Section
Nine of this ordinance be drawn on the city treasurer for the payment
of such amount, said scrip to be made payable on or before &--
days after date and drawing six per cent interest.
Sec. 11. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its adoption.
