An OVdinance making an appropriation fur the ;payment of certain
claims.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1, That the sum of

the city treasurer for the payment of the following claims as set

Sec. .2. Shat orders be drawn on the city treasurer for the
payment of the claims mentioned in Section One hereof.
Sec. 3. That the sum of One Thousand Seven Hundred and Sixty
two and 38/100 ($1762.38) Dollars be and the same is hereby appropri-
ated out of any funds in the hands of the city treasurer for the
payment of the following claim:
To Ringle & Root for the construction of cement curb and gutter on
Ninth street from Elm street to U.P.Ry .....................$17(:,2.38 V
Sec. 4. That scrip for such amount as mentioned in Section
Three of this ordinance be drawn on the city treasurer for the pay-
ment of such amount, said scrip to be made payableon or beforen
days after date and drawing six per cent. interest.

Sec.5. That the sum of Four Thousand Seven Hundred and Forty-
four and 59/100 (.$4744.59) Dollars be and the same is hereby ap-
propriated out of any funds in the hands of the city treasurer for
the payment of the following claim:
To The Kaw Paving Company for paving Ninth street from Iron avenue
to Ash street..

Sec. b. That scrip for such amount as mentioned in Section
Five of this ordinance be drawn on the city treasurer for the
payment of such amount, said scrip to be made payable on or before
after date and drawingsix
per cent interest.
Sec. 7. That the sum of Four Hundred Fifty Eight (0458.0o)
Dollars be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any funds in
the hands of the city treasurer for the payment of the following
claims:
To D.G.Stack constructing sewer on Ninth street...
