An Ordinance providing for the construction of certain sidewalk in
the city of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. That the owner or owners of any and all real estate

the north side of East Beloit avenue from Santa Fe avenue to Lot Twent..
eight (28) on Beloit avenue;ide of Prescott avenue from Ninth
street to Tenth street; East side of Third street from Iron avenue to
tl�} e bank of thenriver.; on South side of Lot 14 and east 155 feet of Lot
16, Eighth street, Beebe's Add. - ` -- --------J -- -
above described, said sidewalk to be constructed of the material, width
and in the manner speci;f.3ed and required by the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1028, of .the printed ordinances of the city of Salina, which said
ordinance No. 1038 is hereby incorporated in and made a part of this
ordinance.
Sects 2. That the committee on sidewalks of t city council shall,
as soon as practicable after the said

cause such sidewalk as described in Section One hereof to be constructed

as herein provided where such owner or owners fail, neglect or refuse to
build the same, as provided herein, and shall report their proceedings,
together with the,.1 ngth,and dimensions of the walk so constructed by
said committee -aind the actual expense thereof to the city council.
Sec 3. The expense of constructing said walk by said committee
shall..be assessed against -the real estate abutting thereon according to
the front foot thereof, and collected as other taxes against such real
.estate..
Secy 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
