An Ordinance apportioning and levying a special tax .or assessment to
pay the cost of constructing certain sidewalk in the city of
Salina, Kansas.
Section 1. That there be and is hereby levied and assessed against
each of the lots and parts of lots hereinafter described a special tax
for the purpose of paying the cost of constructing certain sidewalk
abutting said property by the city of Salina, betitgen the 11th day of
August 1910 add N ay of August 1911, in the various sums set oppo-
site the following described lots and pieces of ground, to-*tt:
Lot 138, Third st-----------------------------------------X55.75
Lot 8, Blk. 3, Oak Dale Add------------------------------- 68.63
Lot 30, Blk. 9, Riverside Park Add.----------------------- 99.69
Lot 29, Elm st., Weavers Add.-- ---------------- ----------- 71,13
Sec. 2. Tha he city clerk be and is hereby authorized and dir-
ected to^certify the ssessments made in Section One of this ordinance
to the county clerk of Saline county, Kansas, to be placed upon the
tax rolls for collection subject to the same penalties -and collected
in * like manner as other taxes.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effetit and be in force from
ad after its publict3ion once in the Salina Evening Journal.
