Be It Ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:

Sec.2. That orders be drawn on the city treasurer for the pyment
of the claims as mentioned in Section 1 har eof.
Sec. 3. That the sum of Eleven Thousand Eight Hundred Thirty
Nine Dollars and Forty Cents ($►11839.40) be and the same is appropriat
ed out of any funds in the hands of the city treasurer for the payment
of the following claims:
To the Kaw Paving Company for paving South street from Phillips street
to College Avenue ----------- ------------------------------------ 03449.70
To The Kaw Paving Company for paving Prescott avenue from Fourth
street to Ninth street ----------------------------------- -------- 68389.7o
Sec. 4. That scrip for such amount as mentioned in Section
3 of this ordinance be drawn on the city treasurer -for the payment
of such amounts, said scrip to be made payable on or before
days after date and drawing six per cent interest.
Sec. 5. That the sum of Three Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty
Four Dollars, and Forty Five Cents ($3754.45) be and the same is
appropriated out of any funds in the hands of the city treasurer
for the payment of the following claims:
To D.G.Stack for sewer on Baker street from Walnut street to center
of Spruce street $428.15'
To D.G.Stack for sewer work ---------------- ----------------- 3326.30
Seco. That scrip for such amount as mentioned in Section 5
of this ordinance be drawn on the city treasurer,_ said scrip to be
made payable on or before days after date and drawing six pw
cent interest.
Sec. ?. This ordinance shall tam effect and be in force
from and after its adoption.
