1605 Distribution of Sample Medicines(Published in the Salina Evening Journal April , 1911)
ORDINANCE NO. L 0 VSr
An ordinance prohibiting theromiscuous distribution of sample medi-
cines in the city of Salina.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. Itis hereby declared to be a misdemeanor for any
person to throw, deposit, scatter or drop.upon the streets, or on the
sidewalks, or in the yards or on the porches or premises of any private
dwelling in the city of Salina any sample of any drug, medicine or
nostrum; and any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall,
upon conviction thereof, be�ined in any sum not exceedings twenty-five
dollars.
Sec. 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
