An Ordinance granting Union Pacific Railroad Company the right
to construct, maintain and operate a railway switch track from a
po9nt opposite Lot 28, on Po i.rth Street, across certain streets
and alleys, to the east line of Santa Fe Avenue.
Be it ordained. by the mayor and Counoi$pemn of the city of Salina:
Section 1. That the right be and is hereby granted to Union
Pacific Railroad Company to construct, operate and maintain a railer
road track for switch p urposee from a connection with its present
tr wk in Pourth Street, at apoint opposite Lot 28, on Fourth 10
Street, and'southerly therefrom in said Fourth Street, to a point
in the east line of Lot Thirty-four (34) on Fourth Street, and
across the -;alley in said block at a point between Lots 39 and 40
Foirth Street
on Fifth Street and on/and across Ram Siasai Fifth Street from
a point
in
the
west line of Lot
41
on Santa Pe
Avenue to the
east
line of
Lot
42
on Fifth Street
and
across the
alley between
said
lots 41 and '42 in Salina.. Kan gas, which track is -shown on blue
print on file with the City Clerk.
Seo, 2. Union Pacific Railroad Company shall at -all times
while maintaining and Operating said switch track., keep the same
property planked within the rails the full width of all streets
which it crosses or filled with suitable material at all points
where it is located in said streets and alleys,,
Sso� '3. This Ordin ecce shall take effect and be in force
from, ar.d after its publication in The Salina Evening Journal.
