ORDINANCE No.
An Ordinance providing for the construction of certain sidewalk in
the city of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. That the owner or owners of any and all real estate
to be constructed on or before the qday of.
a sidewalk in front of and adjacent to all the lots or parts of lots
above described, said, sidewalk to be constructed of the material, width
and in the manner specified and required by the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1038, of the printed ordinances of the city of Salina, which said
ordinance No. 1038 is hereby„incorporated in and made a part of this
ordinance.
Secy 2. That the committee on sidewalks of the city -council shall,
as soon as practicable after the said day of 19
cause such sidewalk as described in Section One kreof to b constructed
as herein provided where such owner.or owners fail, neglect or refuse to
build the same, as provided herein, and shall report their proceedings,
together with the length and dimensions of the walk so constructed by
said committee and the actual expense .thereof to the city council.
Sec4*Pi%•3.- The expense of constructing said walk by said committee
shall be assessed against the real estate abutting thereon according to
the front foot thereof, and collected as other taxes against such real
estate.
Sec r.4. This ordinance shall to efffect and in force from
and after its publication once in the
