An ordinance relatIng to the trimming of trees.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and. Councilmen of the City of . Salina :.
Section l• That where trees and branches extending over the streets,
avenues and alleys of the city of Salina obstruct and prevent the proper
construction and. operation -of electric light, power and telephone lines,
such trees or branches may be out and trimmed by the company operating
@u@' lines sufficient to permit the proper construction and operation
of such lines, such trimming, how$ver, to be done under the direction
and supervision 'of the 'of, sai'd city and in such manner as
not to unnecessarily injure air impair the life and appearance. of such
trees.
Sec. 2. This ordinance.shall tare effect and be in force from and
a:"ter its publication once in the Sallna Evening Jourxial.
