1563 Public Offenses(Published in the 4alina Evening Journal July* 1910) ORDINANCE NO -,1—J -1 A, An ordinance defining certaim publicoffenses and prescribing punishment for the violation thereof. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: -,- Section 1. Prize Fight Pictures. Any person or persons who shall exhibit, or cause to be exhibited in the city of Salina, in any theater, place of amusement or other public place, pictures portraying any prize fight or pugilistic combat shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding one hundred dollars,, or by imprisonment not exceeding sixty days in jail, or by both such find and imprisonment. Sec. Hauling broken stone„ etc. It shall be unlawful for any person to draw or haul over the paved streets of the city of Salina any or broken stoke, gravel, sand, manure, mud, dirt, clay, ashes, rubbish of any kind, except in'a wagon,, cart or other vehicle with a tight box thereon, so constructed as to prevent the ppilling or scattering of any of the substances therein contained, upon said paved streets. Any per. son violating any of the provisions of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof fined not less than three dollars nor more than twenty-five dollars efr-r-` See. -I.
