An ordinance apprapriating money out of the Firemen's Relief Association
fund, for certain purposes.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:-.
Section 1. For the purpose of providing the necessary means with
which to purchase and procure accident insurance for not more than ten
(10 ) volunteer firemen of the city of Salina, there is hereby appro-
priated, to the Firemen's Relief Association of Salina, out of the.funds
of said association in the hands of the city treasurer, a sum of money
not exceeding one hundred twenty-five ($125.00) dollars.
See. 2. The accident. insurance to be purchased with the money
hereby appropriated shall be furnished to men only who shall volunteer
to assist and do assist the regular paid fire department at such fires
and upon such occasions as the fire chief may direct, and such fire
chief shall file with the city clerk a report of the expenditure of
such money, giving the names of the volunteer firemen for whom insurance
has been purchased, the amount and cost thereof and the time for which
the same is 'to run.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its passag* e.
