to Claflin avenue, in the city of ,
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina: --
Section 1• That, a grade be and the same is hereby established on
Santa. Fe avenue, commencing at the intersection of Santa Fe avenue
and Crawford street, sixteen and five -tenths (16.5) feet south of the
north line of Crawford 'street, at an elevation of one hundred four and
five -tenths (104.5) fe et; thence by a uniform grade to Bond street to an
elevation, of one hundred seven (107) feet; thence by a uniform grade to
Wilson street 160 an elevation of one hundred seven and.eight-tenths
(107.8) feet; thence by a uniform grade to Republic avenue.to an elevation
of one hundred nine and four -tenths (109.4) feet; thence by a uniform grade
t -o Beloit avenue to an elevation of one hundred ten and four -tenths
(110.4) feet; thence by uniform grade to Misseapolis avenue.to an eleva�
tion of one hundred eleven and four -tenths (111.4) feet; thence by uniform
grade to Ellsworth avenue to an elevation of one hundred eleven (111)
feet; thence by a uniform grade to Jewell avenue to an elevation of one
hundred ten and sixty -one -hundredths (110.60) feet; thence by uniform
an elevation of one hundred ten amd twenty -
grade to Kirv�in avenue to
hundfedths (110.20) feet; thence by uniform grade to Claflin avenue to
an elevation of one hundred nine and eighty -hundredths (109.80) feet.
Sec. 2. All elevations mentioned in section one of this ordinance
are referred to the city bench m,x'k, as established by ordinance, and to
the profiles on file in the city engineer's office.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
