ORDINANCE NO.
An ordinance letting the contract fortohe5alst construction Of certain sewers
in the city f
Whereas, under the provisions of Ordinance No. 1517, the mayor and
council decided to build and construct certain sewers in the city of
Salina, in said ordinance described; and,

bid of L. H. Lyon is hereby found .and construction of such sewers,
most responsible bid for the building
and the cost of building and constructing such sewers under such bid and
proposal of said L. H. Lyon does not exceed the estimate of the cost of
such construction as heretofore made by the city engineer of said city
and now on file with the city clerk; therefore,
Be it ordained by the payor and.Councilmen of the City of Salina: --
Section l• That a contract be and is hereby let to L. H. Lyon, of
Salina, Kansas, for building and constructing all the sewers specified
and described in said Ordinance No. 1517, passed and approved by the
mayor and council of said city on the 27th day. of September, 1909, and
which said description of said sewers as contained in said Ordinance No.
1517 is hereby incorporated in and made a part of this ordinance in all
respects as if copied out in -full herein, at and .for the prices
jxxxxxxxxxxxxx given and specified in the said proposal of said L. H.
Lyon this day filed with the city clerk, for the different sewers and the
different catch basins and man holes as specified and described in said
bid or proposal, and whichsaid bid and proposal of the said L. H• Lyon
is hereby specially referred to and made a part of this ordinance in all
respects as if the same were written out in full herein.
Sec. 2. That such sewers, and the manholes and catch basins and all
work embraced in and covered by said Ordinance No• -1517 -and herein let
to said L. III. Lyon shall be done in accordance with the specifications
therefor made by the city engineer and on filewith the city clerk.
Sec. 3. That the city attorney prepare a contract with the said
city of Saline, and the said L. H. Lyon for the doing of the.work herein
and in said Ordinance No. 1517 provided•
Sec. 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in forcefrom
