ORDINANCE NUMBER 10-10537
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE AMENDMENT OF ORDINANCE
, NUMBER 8526, THE SAME: BEING CHAPTER 42 OF THE SALINA CODE, AND THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP THEREIN AND THEREBY ADOPTED AND PROVIDING FOR
W THE REZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY AND PRESCRIBING
THE PROPERTY USES THEREOF.
WHEREAS, all conditions precedent for the amendment of the Zoning District Map, the
rezoning of certain property therein, hereinafter described has been timely complied with, SO
NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the City of Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. AMENDMENT. DISTRICT "PC -5". PLANNED SERVICE
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. That the Zoning District Map of the City of Salina, Kansas, duly
adopted and published as a part of Ordinance Number 8526, the same being Chapter 42 of the
Salina Code, be and it is hereby amended so that the following described property be rezoned as
follows, to=wit:
Lot One (1), Three (3), Five (5), Seven (7) and Nine (9), Block One (1),
Bond's Addition to the City of Salina, Saline County, Kansas.
shall be a part of District "PC -5". PLANNED SERVICE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT.
Section 2. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL. That the use of said described property shall
be subject to all the conditions, restrictions and limitations as made and provided for in Ordinance
Number 8526, the same being'Chapter 42 of the Salina Code with reference to the PLANNED
SERVICE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT. Development of property shall be subject to the plans on
file with the Planning Commission and/or City Clerk and the following conditions, to -wit:
1. Development on this site, including building design and landscaping, shall
substantially conform to the approved site development plan subject to the following
conditions:
a. Only special insulted vacuums shall be used in the rear vehicle drying area.
b. Directional lighting similar to AKTRA III by Widelite; shall be installed on the
car wash site.
c. The beeper signal in the handheld car wash bays shall be muffled.
d. The rear doors of the automated car wash bay shall remain closed when the car
wash and hot air dryers are in operation.
2. A building permit for this car wash dryer installation project shall be obtained within
18 months of site plan approval.
Section _ 3. That this ordinance amends and supersedes Ordinance Number 92-9514 as it
applies to this property and Ordinance Number 92-9514 as it applies to the above described
property is hereby repealed.
Section .4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption
and publication once in the official city newspaper.
