An ordinance: vacating a certain alley in the city of Salina, Kansas.
Be it oedained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the -City of Salina: --
Section 1• That it is necessary and expedient to vacate the
alley running north and south between Pine street and North street and
between Fifth street and Santa Be avenues, in the city of Salina, and that
such alley is hereby vacated, annulled and discontinued, subject, how-
ever, to the 'candit.ions named in section two hereof.
Sec. 2. Such vacat&on is made upon the express condition, how-
ever, that the said city of Salina hereby reserves the right to use, or
permit any other corporation or person to use, the ground comprised in
said alley as heretofore established and maintained, for the purpose of
setting and locating telephone, telegraph and electric light poles, and
for laying water, gas and sewer pipes upon or through the same, and such
city of Salina hereby expressly reserves an easement in and over such
ground for any and all of the purposes herein set forth.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
