1447 Levy Special Assessments
i (Published in the Salina Evening Journal Oct. , 1908). ORDINANCE NO. �VI� An ordinance relating to apportioning and levying a special assessment on certain lots and pieces of ground in. the city of Salina, Kansas, to pay the cost of axing, excavating and curbing Ash streets said city between Fpourth street and Seventh street; and relating to the collection thereof. Be it ordained by the ?payor and Councilmen of the city of Salina: -- Section 1. That for the purpose of paying the cost of paving, excavating and curbing Ash street, in the city of Salina, Kansas, be- tween the west hiiie of Fourth street and the east side of Fifth street, the west side of Fifth street and the east side of Santa Fe avenue and the west side of Santa Fe avenue and the east side of Seventh street, there is hereby levied and assessed a special assessment on all lots and pieces of ground liable therefor, to the center of the block on either side of said Ash street, the distance improved, according to the ap.-» praised value of such lots and pieces of around without regard to the buuildings or improvements thereon;.said.special assessments being based on the special valuation and appraisement of said lots and piens of g ground heretofore made by three; disinterested appraisers appointed by the mayor and council of said city, and being computed and made for each block separately, and the several amounts levied, appuvtioned and assessed against each of said lots and pieces of ;round according to the benefits to be derived by reason of the paving, excavating and curbing of said .ash street, between the limits nereinbefore defined, are described and designated as follows, to -wit: 46 E feet side eat Yourth Street and tie eitet tilde of VIM street „ RIOTSTT` . 7Zll:dw a 5162/2 tot 64 wfrtllw. .f. i..tllffiw.Ywf.ww w,.w Fourth Street..i..,.#��►... � ip0 66ffliw.
