An ordinance relating to the opening of a certain street in the city of
Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section 1. That *sis hereby determined by the mayor and council
of the cit+f Salina to open a street, fifty (50) feet wide, between
Prescott avenue and the alley lying between said Prescott avenue and
Washington avenue, in said city, and off the west end of the west one-
half of that tract pr piece of ground known and described on the city
map as the "W.E.Miller" tract, situate between Tenth street and Second
avenue, in the said city of Salina. ---
Sec. 2. That the city engineer k is hereby directed to make a
survey of the property proposed to be taken for such street, and shall
make a plat of the parcels of land to be taken, showing the dsions
of the same and the name of the owner3thereof, as near as may be, which
plat shall be returned to and filed with the city clerk; and such plat
shall be so filed before the next regular meeting of the said mayor
and council.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
