An Ordinance providing for the construction of certain sidewalk in
the city of Salina, Kansas.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the city of Salina:
Section l.' That the owner or owners of any and all real estate

to be constructed on'or before the 18th day of November 1907
a sidewalk in front of and adjacent.to all the lots or parts of lots
above described, said sidewalk to be constructed of the material, width
and in the manner specified and required by the provisions of Ordinance
No. 1038, of the printed ordinances of the city of Salina, which said
ordinance No. 1038 is hereby incorporated in and made a part of this
ordinance.
Sec, 2. That the committee on sidewalks of the city council shall,
as soon as practicable after the saidl8th. _day of November 190
cause such sidewalk as described in Section One hereof to be constructed
as herein provided where such owner or owners fail, neglect or refuse to1-:
build the same, as provided herein, and shall report the]r proceedings,
together with the length and -dimensions of the walk so constructed by
said committee and the actual expense thereof to the city council.
Sec,jffift 3. Theexpense of constructing said walk by said committee
shall be•assessed against the real estate abutting thereon according to
the front foot thereof, and collected as other taxes against such real
estate.
