Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That thee be- and is he'zreb./ levied ani assessed against,
there
each of the lots and parts of lots hereinafter described,a special tax,
for the purpose of paying the cost of repairing and constructing certain
sidewalks abutting said p'rope'rty by the city of Salina,,b.etveen the-20th-
day

Scc , 2. That the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to certify the assessments made in section 1 of this ordinance
tar the County Clerk --of Saline County,Kansas,to be placed upon the -+.a-x
roll for collection,subject to the same penalties and collected in like
manner as other taxes.
Secy 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from
and after its publication once in the Salina Evening Journal.
