Section 2. That all of the above mentioned sidewalk shall
be constructed of the material and in.the width and manner speci-
fied and required by the provisions of Ordinances numbered 1038,
1971 and 1974of the City of Salina, Kansas, which said ordinances
are hereby incorporated in and made a part of this ordinance.
Section 3. The committee on sidewalks of the City Council
shall as soon as practicable after the 15th day of May, 19190 cause
any sidewalk herein mentioned to be constructed if the owner or own
ers liable for such construction shall fail, neglect or refuse to
so construct same within the time herein provided and shall report
their proceedings, tegether with actual expenses thereof, to the
City Council.

Be it by Councilmen
ordained the Mayor and of the City of Salina:
Section 1. That the owner or owners of the following
described lots and tracts of land in the City of Salina, Kansas,
be and they are hereby required uired t o construct or cause to be con-
structed on or before the 15th day of May, 1919, a sidewalk in
front @f and adjacent to such lots and tracts of land as follows:
West Side Lot 7, Blk, 9, Oakdale Addition,
Lots 8-9-10-11-12-13, Blk. 9, Oakdale Addition,
West Side Lot 14, Elk. 9, Oakdale Addition,
West Side Lot 7, Blk. 110 Oakdale Addition,
Lots 8 and -9., Blk. 11, Oakdale Addition.
On East side of Ninth Street, over and across
U. P. Right of Way, part of Blk. 6, Depot Addi-
tion as follows: on West side of Ninth Street
from North Street south to south line of right
of way of McPherson Branch tracks -of U.P.R. .
Lots 21-22-23, Walnut Street, University Addition.

.Section 4. Expense of construction of said sidewalks
by said committee, in event they construct the same, shall be
assessed against the real estate abutting thereon according to
the front foot thereof and collected as other taxes against
said real estate are collected.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be' in
full force from and after its publication once in The Salina
Daily Union.
Passed and approved, this 7th day of April, 1919.
