2228 AppropriationsORDINANCE NO. 2228 An ordinance making an appropriation for the payment of certain claims. Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of the City of Salina; Section 1. Sec. 3. That the sum of $360.00 be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the Park Fund in the hands of the City Treas- urer for the payment of the following claims: L. B. That orders be drawn on the City Treasurer for the payment of the claims mentioned in Section three (3) hereof. Sec. 5. That the sum of $28.12 be and the same is hereby appropriated out of any fund in the hands of the City Treasurer for the payment of the following claim: Chas. P. Smith, Refund on 1918 Sidewalk Tax $28.12 Sec. 6. that scrip for the amount specified in Section Five (5) hereof be and the same is hereby drawn on the City Ireasurer for the payment of such claim. Said scrip to -be made ipayable on demand and bearing no interest. Sec. 7. That the sum of $,447.88 be and the same is here- by appropriated out of the Paving Fund in the hands of the City Treasurer for the payment of the following claims: M. R. Amerman, Excavating & paving North St. from Santa Fe to Ninth Street .....................$4985.61 M. R. Amerman,' Curb on North side of North Street from Santa Fe to Ninth Street ...:.... 416.60 Martin Ahlstedt, 1918 Paving Taxes 45.67 U8 Sec. 8. That scrip for the amounts specified in Section Seven (7) of this ordinance'be and the same is hereby drawn..on the City Treasurer for the payment of such claims. Said scrip to be made payable on demand ,and bearing no interest. Sec. 9. That the sum of $5,622.39 be and the same is hereby appropriated out of the Sewer Fund in the hands of the City Treas- iurer for the payment of the following claims: M. R. AIDerman,' Hewers* in Highland Court, Wesleyan Addition Eighth Street, etc., .....................$5407.25 M. R- Amerman, Sewer stub at Seventh and North, manhole and catchbasin ........................... 88.82 g. R- Amerman, Final estimate, on. north side sewer ....... 126.32 Total .. . ..................$5622.39 sec. 10. That scrip for the amounts specified in Section Nine (9) hereof be and the same is hereby drawn on the City Treas- urer for the payment of such. claims. Said scrip to be made paya- ble on demand and bearing no interest. Sec. 11. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its adoption.
