ORDINANCE NO. 2219 BY U, it
(Published in the Salina Daily Union October 1918)
An ordinance amending Section Five (5) of Ordinance No.
2149, entitled, "An-ordinanee relating to the salar-
ies of:cerrtain officials and employees of the City
of -Salina, Kansas," and repealing said original
Section Five.
Be it ordained by the Mayor and Councilmen of .the City of
Salina, Kansas:
Section 1. That Section 5 of Ordinance No. 2149 be,
and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 5. That from and after Octoboer 15th, 1918,
the Fire Chief shall receive a salary of One Hundred Dollars
($100.00) per month and the assistant fire chief shall re-
ceive a salary of Ninety ($90.00) Dollars per month, which
shall be in full compensation for all services rendered.
Firemen of the first class shall receive the sum of Eighty-
fi ve 085.00) Dollars per month and firemen of the second
class shall receive a salary of Seventy -Five (075.00) per
month, which shall be in full compensation for all services
rendered and such salaries shall be payable semi-monthly
as other salaries are allowed and paid."
Sec. 2. That Section Five (5) of Ordinance No. 2149
be and same is,hereby repealed.
Sec. 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force from and after its publication once in the offi-
cial City paper.
